Aztec Engineering has supported Vesta Energy’s asset development program since 2019, delivering a broad scope of engineering and construction management services across an active and growing field. Over six years, our team tied in 132 producing wells and 2 water injection wells, while installing 85 km of pipeline infrastructure across gathering and looping systems. Our facilities work spanned a wide range of scopes, including two pipeline water knockout facilities, three oil battery expansions, two NGL bullet installations, and two gas plant capacity expansions — each involving complex equipment additions such as inlet exchangers, chillers, condensers, and condensate stabilizers. Additional highlights include a sales gas re-injection project and two pump-off-separator liquids pump installations to optimize pipeline pressures. Water management was a key focus as well, with two water injection projects completed — one greenfield facility and one expansion to an existing site. Aztec’s multi-disciplinary involvement across facilities, pipelines, and production optimization reflects the depth of partnership developed with Vesta over this engagement.
