13 Years of Integrated Development Support (2012–Present)

Over more than a decade, Aztec Engineering has served as a trusted engineering partner to NuVista Energy, providing deeply integrated support across all phases of asset development. Since 2012, our team has successfully tied in 405 producing wells while installing 757 km of pipeline infrastructure spanning gathering, fuel gas, lift gas, instrument air, and produced water systems. Our facilities work has included eight compressor installations, two source water wells, one water injection well, and two water degassing facilities. Supporting this volume of development also required rigorous regulatory coordination, with 114 ABSA registrations completed over the program’s life. Throughout this engagement, our teams have successfully navigated the unique challenges of high sour production environments and operations in close proximity to residents — demonstrating Aztec’s commitment to safe, compliant, and community-conscious project delivery.
