Greg joined the Aztec management team as a partner in 2013.  He started his career in the oil and gas industry in construction with experience in industrial concrete, asphalt and road construction.  He worked as an operator at a sour gas plant in Northern Alberta then as a facilities engineer in Fort McMurray at the Albian Sands Mine.  He was a field engineer for three heavy oil facilities in Northern Alberta for Shell Canada.  He then spent three years as the general manager of Ritchie Bros. Construction, building a division of the oilfield road and lease construction company in Grande Prairie.

With a background in operations and construction, Greg has a very hands-on and practical approach to engineering, providing fit for purpose engineered solutions.  Greg’s focus as a manager is in quality recruitment and employee retention.
